Applies to improved forest management projects extending rotation age on forests actively harvested using clear cuts, patch cuts, or similar techniques with timber revenue objectives. Project area must be FSC-certified or under easement prohibiting commercial harvesting. Excludes peat forests; requires projections for baseline and project scenarios, fire control measures, and no activity shifting on project-controlled lands outside the project boundary.
