適用条件（eligibility）
Projects must be located in the U.S. and Canada (including tribal/First Nation lands). Feedstocks must be waste/by-product biomass OR purpose-grown biomass from marginal lands (Land Capability Class 5–6) or reclaimed mining sites. Biochar must be applied to eligible end uses ensuring long-term carbon persistence (soil amendment, construction materials, or non-soil durable applications). All three project phases (acquisition, production, application) must meet additionality tests, regulatory compliance, and environmental safeguards.
