Methodology for the Quantification, Monitoring, Reporting and Verification of Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reductions and Removals from Restoration of Pocosin Wetlands, Version 1.0

適用条件（eligibility）

Project area must be a previously-drained pocosin (freshwater wetland on organic soils in coastal Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia) free of productive land use for ≥5 years prior. Rewetting involves raising the water table through partial or complete reversal of pre-existing drainage. Soil disturbance must be <3% of project area, no N-fertilizers used, and infrastructure/protocols must be in place to maintain average annual water level at or below mid-point surface elevation. Project activity cannot increase GHG emissions outside project area via hydrological connectivity, and a valid baseline site must be identified and monitored.
